Yoga is not just about the physical postures of yoga (asana), but encompasses an entire lifestyle that incorporates your body, mind, and spirit. It is by doing the full spectrum of all that incorporates yoga: postures, breath and meditation, that we learn the lessons of patience, endurance, kind self – talk, along with making our bodies stronger and more agile. (many people mistakenly think yoga is just exercise)
As we become older, we celebrate our maturity to make decisions, that come from life lessons and with this wisdom we understand what we need to feel good, be strong for ourselves and for others. Yoga gives us the technology to practice what will sustain us as we live a long and healthy life. Yoga, therefore, is a lifestyle a way of moving and organizing our priorities towards peaceful thinking, taking time to rest as well as moving in safe and appropriate way under the guidance of an experienced teacher.
